Fire at Sebree Auto Parts results in temporary road closure.

According to Webster County Emergency Management Director Jeremy Moore, a fire broke out at the Sebree Auto Parts store at approximately 7:38 a.m. this morning (Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013). The business owner was inside the building at the time of the fire.
"Both lanes of US 41 were closed at the time of the fire and will remain so until the scene is cleared," Moore said. Closing the road was necessary to allow fire trucks access to a fire hydrant located across the highway from the fire.
Fire fighters from Sebree, Poole, Robards, Dixon, Slaughters and Cairo all responded to the fire, which had totally consumed the building.
The cause of the blaze was still unclear as of 11:30 a.m., but was being investigated by Emery Thomas of the Sebree Fire Department.
