The Journal-Enterprise has hired Todd P’Pool to act as the newspapers new full-time outside sales Account Executive. P’Pool joined the J-E staff last week with a goal of expanding the newspaper’s sales reach, allowing for the addition of new material to the paper’s existing content.
“We have some opportunities to bring our readers some new and exciting material in the very near future,” said Matt Hughes, editor of the J-E. “But we don’t want to change our existing content, which our weekly readers have come to enjoy and expect. To add new material without removing something we need to add pages, and to do that we need to sell more ads.”
P’Pool, not to be confused with the Hopkins County Attorney of the same name, comes to the J-E from Princeton. He brings with him nearly two decades worth of sales experience.
“I’m excited to be here,” said P’Pool. “I look forward to getting to know all of the local people.”
