On Thursday night Webster County High School’s Site Based Decision Making Committee announced the selection of WCHS’s new Principal, bringing back an educator who spent a brief part of her early career at that same school.

Tara Howard, who has been an administrator with McLean County High School since 2010, taught Algebra I, Honors Algebra and Informal Geometry at WCHS in the 1998-1999 school year.
She replaces WCHS Tim Roy who was named earlier this week as Principal of James Madison Middle School in Hopkins County.
This is the second Principal to be hired by the Webster County School District in the last week. Last Friday Cyndi Boggs was named principal of the new Webster County Middle School.
Sebree’s Site Based Committee will meet on Tuesday to begin the process of replacing Principal Terry Starks who stepped down to return to the classroom.
