Daytime road closures on Highway 132 in Webster County are expected to continue for the rest of this week, wrapping up on Friday, June 20th.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has been closing Highway 132 during daylight hours at mile point 12.3 to allow repairs to the Nall Ditch Bridge. This is along KY 132 between Dixon and Clay just west of the KY 857 intersection.
In addition to rain and high water that hampered work at the site, the KYTC District 2 Bridge Crew found erosion damage to the bridge substructure was more extensive than expected.
KY 132 will be closed from approximately 8:00 a.m., CDT, to about 3:00 p.m., each day this week for the ongoing repair work.
There is a marked detour via US 41A and KY 1340. Approximately 1,200 vehicles travel this section of KY 132 in an average day.
