The Providence Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet scheduled for tonight, Thursday, December 5, is the latest holiday event to fall victim to tonight’s predicted winter weather.
Chamber President Elizabeth Holloman made the announcement at noon today that because of safety concerns, the event will be rescheduled for Tuesday, December 10, at 7:00 p.m.
Other events that have already been rescheduled include the Clay Christmas Parade, which will be held Friday, December 13 at 6:00 p.m. and the Dixon Christmas Parade, rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013.
Clay Elementary’s Breakfast with Santa has been canceled.
