LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Recently, we were appraised of rumors circulating in our local community, as it regards the future of Colonial Terrace nursing facility, a Redbanks community. Rumors have circulated regarding the possible sale of Colonial Terrace, or the closure of our facility. I would like our local community to know these rumors are not true, and have no substance in fact. At this time, we are unable to pinpoint the exact origin of these rumors.

Our facility has recently undergone some significant, and positive changes, as it relates to both exterior and interior offerings. One of the most exciting changes will be the addition of several remodeled rooms, as we add some enhanced services for rehabilitation-to-home service, and enhanced wound care. We also hope to attract more interest in private room arrangements.

We have discussed these rumors with our staff, and assured them that Colonial Terrace is here for the long haul, and changes made are designed with the future in mind. We have a strong team, of dedicated, hard workers.

The recent round of rumors regarding possible sale, or closure, are certainly discouraging, but again, have no substance. I would encourage any community member to personally contact me, should they have questions or concerns. We also encourage any information as it regards the source of these damaging rumors.

We appreciate your on-going support and commitment to our mission of service!

                                                                                Respectfully,
                                                                          Rick Hendrickson, Administrator
