Retirement Reception
  A retirement reception will be held for Jan Cole Thursday, April 24, 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Dixon Service Center, 555 St. Rt. 1340, Dixon. Jan has served as Administrative Secretary for the Webster County Conservation District for over 35 years. Everyone is invited to attend.  

County Drug Toss
  "National Drug Take Back Day" will be held Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Locations will be Sureway parking lot in Providence, United Community Bank parking lot in Clay,  Sebree stoplight. There will be law enforcement at each location.

Historical Society To Meet 
The Webster County Historical & Genealogical Society will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, in the research room of the Webster Co. Public Library in Dixon. The program will be a presentation by a local WWII veteran who was a gunner on a B-24 during the war.

Special Guest Speakers 
Jeff and Rita Travis will be giving their testimony at the 11 a.m. service Sunday, April 27, at Liberty Praise Chapel, Hwy. 41-A, Providence. Everyone is invited to attend.

Spring Revival 
Second Baptist Church in Providence will hold  revival services April 27th - May 1st. Bro. Ray Finley will be the evangelist. Sunday services will be at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. and week night services will begin at 7 p.m. There will be special singing nightly. Everyone is invited to attend. 

OVAL Annual Kitchen Tour 
The Ohio Valley Art League will sponsor their 10th annual Kitchen Tour from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in Henderson. Four home plus the Boucherie Winery will be featured. Chefs will be in the kitchens preparing recipes with a sample given to each participant. For more information go to www.ohiovalleyart.org.

Golf Player/Parent Meeting 
A player and parent meeting for any boy and girl currently in grades 5 -11 interested in playing golf next fall will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at the Providence golf course. WCHS Athletic Director Matt Bell is asking to please make every effort to attend.

Special Event 
The Webster County Health Coalition and St. Anthony's Hospice is sponsoring a special evening featuring Joey Davenport, speaking on "Care On Purpose" and K.T. Williams, speaking on "Make Your Wishes Known" Thursday, May 8, at 6 p.m. at the UK Extension office in Dixon. The event is free and a buffet dinner will be provided. Only 125 spots are available. WCHS Class of '64 Reunion 
The 1964 first graduating class of WCHS will have their 50th class reunion at 6 p.m. May 31, at the Dixon Community Center. For more information contact 270-836-4782 or 270-875-6655.
