Webster County Schools are set to begin registration for Kindergarten students, the first step on getting children enrolled for the upcoming school year.
Registration for the 2015-16 school year will be the week of March 23 through 27 at all county elementary schools between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each day.
Parents or guardians must bring their child’s certified birth certificate and valid KY immunization form to registration. Enrollment packets will be given at the time of registration. Packets will include school physical forms, dental form and an eye exam form that must completed by a certified optometrist or ophthalmologist.
Incoming kindergarteners will be given the state mandated entrance assessment within 30 days following the start of the school year. Kindergarten Roundup Nights to introduce the families to the school and classroom will be held on April 21 and May 12 at all elementary schools.
