A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans milling and paving along KY 1191 in Webster County starting Monday, September 22, 2014.
This milling and paving project runs along the entire length of KY 1191 from KY 283 at mile point 0.0 to KY 2839 at mile point 2.405.
Milling is expected to start on Monday, followed by asphalt paving on Tuesday. This paving project is expected to take 2 or 3 days to complete, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Appropriate caution is required in the work zone where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Rogers Group is the prime contractor on this $140,511 highway improvement project.
