Weather Update

The latest prediction from the National Weather Service (NWS) call for rain until around 9:00 p.m., then rain, possibly mixed with freezing rain between 9:00 p.m. and midnight.


After midnight that will change to freezing rain and sleet. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Ice accumulation of 0.1 to 0.3 of an inch possible. Sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
On Friday, freezing rain and sleet is expected before 9:00 a.m, then sleet between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The wintery mix is expected to change over to snow after that.
Temperature rising to near 30 by 8:00 a.m. on Friday, then falling to around 25 during the remainder of the day. New ice accumulation of 0.1 to 0.3 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
