The Webster County ASAP Board has announced its decision not to participate in this year’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back Initiative scheduled for October 26, 2013.
Instead Webster County residents are invited to take any or all of their outdated prescription medications to one of the two drug drop boxes that are open year round.
One of these Drug Toss Box is located in the Sheriff’s Office in the courthouse in Dixon, and the other is located at the 911 Dispatch office across the street from the Providence Police Department.
Both Drug Toss Boxes were obtained through efforts of WC ASAP and law enforcement agencies in our County.
In an effort to continue to serve all citizens as well as to participate with National efforts, the WC ASAP Board will likely sponsor the Drug Toss in Spring of 2014.
